Yard Day Session

Frequently Asked Questions
'Where do sessions take place?'
Both the classic and signature sessions can take place at your yard or another outdoor location of your choice, such as fields, woodland, or a quiet countryside spot. If you're unsure of locations, I'm always happy to suggest places that photograph beautifully. The mini sessions are held at a specific venue chosen for each themed shoot.
'Can I add an extra horse or bring my dog?'
Yes, the more the merrier! The classic session includes one horse, and the signature session includes up to two. Additional horses can be included for a small fee. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join in too - just let me know beforehand so we can plan your session!
'What happens if the weather is bad?'
If the weather is unsuitable for photography, we'll simply reschedule your session to another date. Your horse's comfort and safety always come first (plus, no one wants photos in the rain)!
'My horse won't stand still! Can I still book a session?'
Absolutely! Most horses aren't perfectly still, and that's completely normal. I work patiently and allow plenty of time for your horse to relax. Some of the best photos happen in natural moments, so there's no need for your horse to be perfectly behaved.
'How do I book a session?'
You can book by getting in touch through my contact form on my website or via social media. Once we've discussed your preferred session and date, I'll send over the booking details to secure your spot, which includes a 20% non-refundable deposit.
